The Blog Has Landed

by Ben on November 4, 2009

I’m no stranger to blogging. I started when I was 19 to impress a girl with my profound thoughts and insights about being a 19 year old. Penning my ironic witticisms and musings about nothing important for six years or so was distracting enough, but then I went back one rainy day and proceeded to absolutely gross myself out reading my old posts.

I decided I was over it. I’d made a lot of friends, reconnected with old friends (one who eventually married me) and blocked, banned, and otherwise alienated plenty.

Why am I blogging again? Well, a lot has changed. Slowly, painfully, I’m becoming a professional. With that I need to represent the company that has helped me grow and succeed in a way I never imagined possible, Make It Work. I’ll be blogging about our company, my own growth and history within it, and my professional experiences as a Coach, Manager, Boss, whatever you want to call it. I’m responsible for over thirty employees, mostly young, ambitious men, who continue to make my life… interesting.

That’s it for now, thanks for reading and I hope you get something out of my thoughts. Eventually.
